“Vote Film 2012” took a fun-filled approach to election season by showcasing the 35th Starz Denver Film Festival (SDFF) as the only clear choice in November. Offering a nod to the ridiculous nature of the negative campaign ads, we applied playful, tongue-in-cheek “slogans” to yard signs, buttons and other collateral. Each piece poked good-natured fun at the current political culture, urging a break from “politics as usual” by attending the November festival. With an amazing 35th anniversary line-up of films and star appearances, SDFF is sure to get a good percentage of the popular vote.
