The Position

As an essential member of the creative services team, the Web Developer is responsible for delivering web projects on time and on budget. You must possess advanced knowledge of WordPress, HTML/CSS and PHP along with a self-motivated, eager to learn attitude. Along with this development skill set, the developer must also be organized, fast-paced, collaborative, and detail oriented in order to deliver successful projects to clients. On a day-to-day basis, you are expected to be able to quickly switch gears between multiple development projects running simultaneously. This is a full time position.

Technical Knowledge

  • Expert: HTML5/CSS3
  • Advanced: PHP, Custom WordPress Theme Creation / Plugin Development
  • Intermediate: SCSS/SASS, jQuery, Site Speed Optimization, Advanced Custom Fields, Website Hosting/DNS/Launch/Transfers
  • Basic: Git, Command line, Task runners (gulp/grunt), ADA Accessibility, CSS Frameworks, SEO Best Practices

Specific Job Responsibilities/Requirements:

  • WordPress theme development using PHP & Advanced Custom Fields (ACF)
  • Expertly convert designs into custom WordPress themes
  • Lead full website development projects from start to finish with Lead Developer oversight
  • Assist with accurately pricing out functionality required for New Biz Proposals
  • Ensure high level of performance and stability for all websites
  • Implement and customize jQuery scripts, writing basic to moderate jQuery code from scratch
  • Browser, responsive and device testing
  • Basic knowledge of current SEO best practices
  • Ability to test, diagnose, and fix site speed issues
  • Understanding of ADA Website Accessibility Standards
  • Basic experience with git
  • Maintain state-of-the-art knowledge of web programming languages / frameworks / content management systems
  • Working knowledge of the command line for basic server navigation, operations & software installations
  • Audit existing client websites for health and usability issues, suggest improvements to websites, implement these suggestions

We’re currently seeking an Account Management Intern for our summer internship program (woo!) at AOR to work on campaign, branding, print, and digital projects (and everything in-between). This will be a 40 hour/week paid internship, running from the beginning of June to mid-August. AOR is a very fast-paced agency—quick thinking, multi-tasking, and a high-energy personality with an eagerness to learn and grow are key.

Responsibilities

  • Work with and alongside account, design, digital, and operations teams to develop and execute strategic marketing concepts through to completion
  • Collaboration with other intern(s) and mentors to run a specific intern project from start to finish
  • Active participation and contribution to all necessary client and internal meetings and brainstorms
  • Maintain daily, weekly, and monthly to-do lists and openly communicate with the trafficker on project timelines
  • Engage with clients and outside vendors

Required Skills

  • (Pursuing a) Bachelor’s degree in marketing/advertising or a similar field from a four-year college or university
  • Ability to work quickly and autonomously, while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Unparalleled written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • A love (or exuberant tolerance) for canine friends in the workplace

  • Succinctly pair word and image by working closely with the design team and copywriters
  • Collaboration with the account intern and intern mentors to run a dedicated intern project from start to finish using the AOR process
  • Ideate and brainstorm strategic marketing solutions with active participation and contribution to all necessary internal meetings and reviews
  • Engage with clients and outside vendors when appropriate

Required Skills

  • A well-rounded, knock-your-socks-off portfolio demonstrating strong typographic and design skills with solid examples of branding and identity work
  • (Pursuing a) Bachelor’s degree in graphic/communication design or a similar field from a four-year college or university
  • Ability to work quickly and autonomously, while managing multiple projects and deadlines
  • Ability to coherently and confidently provide rationale for your work
  • Excellent attention to detail and organization
  • Master knowledge of Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop

Job Description

The Account Coordinator (AC) is the entry-level position in Account Service.  He/she provides support to the account team to ensure effective/efficient account operations, providing solid and dependable support across all facets of the AOR project process.  The position is a first-step into account management and requires solid organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at the same time, while exemplifying enthusiasm and a can-do attitude within a complex and dynamic agency culture.

Roles and Responsibilities

  •    Provides overall account team operational support
  •    Day-to-day point person on select accounts showcasing the ability and skill to manage clients with the oversight from AS/AE
  •    Primary contact and day-to-day point person for projects and activities on a handful of smaller accounts
  •    Work with traffic, production and creative teams to develop timelines
  •    Ensure client feedback is effectively provided to traffic for scheduling in the system
  •    Proof all work to ensure accuracy before sending along to client/AE/AS
  •    Manage timelines to ensure projects are completed on time
  •    Schedule meetings when needed; room set-up/take down for client meetings
  •    Track project hours to ensure they are delivered within budget
  •    Request quotes from vendors for production projects and facilitate pricing to client with assistance from lead account person
  •    Write and manage weekly status reports with select clients
  •    Works with AS/AE to set individual goals for growth
  •    Demonstrate clear and effective communications when dealing with both internal staff and clients
  •    Responsible for historical account information/knowledge – past work, agency/client correspondence, signed estimates, layout and approvals and proposals
  •    Communicates directly with clients on specified accounts (oversight from AE/AS)
  •    Work directly with agency vendors (printing, premiums, etc.)

Office Hours:

Monday – Friday 8:00AM to 5:00PM. May include work and work functions outside of office hours.

Job Description

The Account Executive (AE) is responsible for program management across all facets of the AOR project process. The position requires strong organizational and problem solving skills combined with the ability to manage multiple projects and deliverables at the same time, while exemplifying a professional and can-do attitude within a complex and dynamic agency culture.  In order to move into the Account Executive role, you will need to show a high level of success in mastering the Account Coordinator duties, proven leadership, organizational and decision-making skills.

Roles and Responsibilities

  • The Account Executive is the day-to-day point person for all projects and activities on the account.
  • Understanding of the client’s business and ability to act as an extension to their marketing department.
  • The Account Executive is a brand expert on their assigned account(s).
  • It is the Account Executive‘s responsibility to ensure effective/efficient account operations within the agency environment.
  • Day-to-day management of all aspects of the account including strategy, creative and production are paramount to excel in this position.
  • The Account Executive is expected to carry out the daily account activities, but also think and act strategically on behalf of the client.
  • The Account Executive can work independently on assigned projects, keeping supervisor informed as needed, exhibiting good judgment and decision-making skills.
  • Responsible for driving projects forward.
  • Develop strategic and complete estimates and creative briefs for new projects.
  • Solicit and understand client feedback on all jobs and create feedback documents to provide to traffic accordingly.
  • He/she must be a mentor/teacher to the Account Coordinator(s).
  • Responsible for growing client relationships
