25 Things: Habitat for Humanity Home Repair

Read Time: 1 Min

AOR volunteered for Habitat for Humanity’s Critical Home Repair program as part of our 25th Anniversary mission to give back to the Denver community. It was a great way to get out of the office for a team-building activity and serve the community.

Habitat for Humanity of Metro Denver and the Critical Home Repair Program was established in an effort to stabilize and revitalize the community. Habitat helps low-income homeowners with essential repair projects so they can continue living in a safe, decent, and affordable home for many years to come.

AOR split up into groups to help two homeowners repair damages from Denver’s recent hail storm. Not only did we learn something new (power tools and manual labor aren’t in the everyday job description here at AOR) but we also were able to give back to the community we live in. It was a truly rewarding experience!
