Cookies and Other Tracking Technologies

Our Websites may use “cookies” and other tracking mechanisms to collect information about you when you visit our Websites. Insofar as those cookies are not strictly necessary for the provision of and our affiliated websites, we ask you to consent to our use of cookies when you first visit our website.

About cookies. A cookie is a file containing an identifier (a string of letters and numbers) that is sent by a web server to a web browser and is stored by the browser. The identifier is then sent back to the server each time the browser requests a page from the server.

Cookies may be either “persistent” cookies or “session” cookies: a persistent cookie will be stored by a web browser and will remain valid until its set expiry date, unless deleted by the user before the expiry date. A session cookie will expire at the end of the user session when the web browser is closed.

Cookies do not typically contain any information that personally identifies a user, but personal information that we store about you may be linked to the information stored in and obtained from cookies.

Cookies that we use. As explained in more detail below, AOR and third-party advertisers may send one or more cookies to your browser to help customize your experience on our Websites or Services or to provide you with ads that may be of interest to you.

We use cookies for the following purposes:

  • Authentication and Personalization – we use cookies to identify you when you visit our Websites and as you navigate our Websites and Services, and to store information about your preferences and to personalize our Websites and Services for you.

AOR expressly requests that you consent to cookies when you visit its Website.

Strictly Necessary Cookies:

Currently, AOR’s Websites do not include any necessary cookies. However, AOR does reserve the right to use cookies in the future. Future implementation of cookies would only be set in response to actions made by you on the Website.

Some browsers have incorporated “Do Not Track” mechanisms. Most of these mechanisms, when turned on, send a signal to the website or online service indicating that the user does not wish to be tracked online. For more information about Do Not Track mechanisms, see http://allaboutdnt.com/. AOR does not monitor or respond to Do Not Track browser requests.
