THE CHALLENGE

mindSpark Learning began in 2009 as Share Fair Nation, a one-day event aimed at teaching educators how to use technology in the classroom. In the years following their initial events, they expanded capabilities and offerings to include a broader scope of professional learning, as well as development and implementation of custom learning experiences for schools, districts, and other education-based organizations throughout the country.

As their organization evolved, they realized their identity no longer accurately represented their work. This realization prompted the need for a complete name and brand overhaul.

THE APPROACH

AOR recommended a strategic approach to their brand evaluation. We hosted a full day discovery session, a critical piece of the AOR branding process, to get an understanding of the following:

  • Goals and direction for the evolving organization
  • Insight into history, competitors, and key differentiators
  • Existing branding, including logo other brand elements
THE PROCESS

AOR took a phased approach to the completion of a new brand identity for mindSpark Learning, which involved these key areas:
