Something Broken Can Be Something Fixed
With the Office of Climate Action’s Reuse Business Directory, residents have their pick of reuse-friendly local businesses in Denver. Pick a category and call a number — the City made it that easy to reuse.
This new tool is available to Denverites and is a great way to make an impact on the local economy and environment. The City just needed a little bit of help spreading the word.

Repair it, Rent it, Buy it Used
The City wanted residents to know that not only are they uplifting climate action and saving money along the way, but they’re also supporting local Denver businesses, who just like them, want to do better.
The campaign needed to simultaneously make the public aware of reuse efforts and uplift local businesses.

It’s Just As Good As New
The concept focuses on the idea that used or rented goods are not too different from something brand new. It asks our audiences to think outside the box, move away from packaging and big brand stores, and focus small.
Joe from Denver Cobblers knows how to take your 10-year-old Blundstones with worn soles and make them look like they just got out of the box — he’s been doing it for longer than you’ve been wearing them.
There’s no need to buy new when you can repair it, rent it, or buy it used — it’s just as good as new.

The Build Out
After the concept messaging was solidified, our designers built a logo and subsequent brand elements to bring the message to life. The branding was used across platforms from animated YouTube ads to window decals and carousels.

Making an Impact on Our Local Community
This project asked our fellow Denverites to change their habits, think about their waste a little bit differently, and consider their environment first over consumption. Working with CASR allows us to impact the community in a way that aligns with our values and hopes for the world.
In the end, it’s just as good as new, so why not reuse?
